Californication is definitely one of my top 10 favorite TV shows! I forgot how hilarious this show was after the long hiatus. Hank has his teenage daughter, Becca, all to himself while Karen is in New York pursuing her dream job. So now he is in charge of a pot smoking, texting obsessed, possible lesbian teenage girl. So not a good idea!
Charlie is back to work in a shit office trying to sell anyone Hanks newest book. Unfortunately, no one wants it because Hank has had his way with a few too many top executive wives. So, poor Runckle is stuck with his new feMALE boss Sue Collini, who "always gets the weenie!" Charlie moves back in with Marcy who isn't exactly excited about this. She has a rape fantasy sex-capade with her "nubian brother," and Charlie tries out his rape skills on her, only to get punched in the sack and called an idiot.
Luckily for Hank, he gets a job at a local university after sabotaging the previous professor with alcohol. Who would have guessed that Hank wouldn't be a good teacher!? Didn't see that one coming! After his first couple of days Hank puts one of his gay students in the hospital after an attempted suicide brought on by the new teacher. But, Hank is able to make it all better after a visit with the student, telling him it's ok to be a fucked up gay kid. Everyone has had a gay experience!
